I am so glad you found me! "The red string of fate" - That all of the connections we encounter are a red string, attached to us, it may be pulled in different directions through time but will never break. 

'

I am Lisa Marie.  I am a licensed addiction counselor and have been in the field since 2018, although these emotional sessions are not legally therapy, they are my offering to the world to radicalize emotional support. I have found through my education that healthcare is deeply rooted in capitalism and I strive to change the struggle to find proper care.

I have a second degree in Interdisciplinary studies - focusing on psychology, human services and history. I specialized in African American studies, Civil Rights history and Activism. I am part of Phi Alpha Theta.

I would identify myself as a bisexual, intersectional feminist and overall coolish counselor. 

​

I strive to make you feel safe in this space and for you to know this is a LGBTQ+ and BIPOC valued space.

EARLIER YEARS TO PRESENT:

Alongside my time in the field, I have also traveled through growth during my spiritual practice that started in 2009 off an free meditation e-book HA! I have given many, many readings over the years with highly regarded feedback and I truly believe in my spiritual gifts. With that said, I follow Unitarian Universalist principles, which simply means I am open to all religions and faiths with acceptance and love.

I grew up deeply within the methodist church. I adore and love to study theology. I have encamped with the Islamic people to help fight against the genocide in Palestine. I have prayed in the mosque; I have knelt in the catholic church. I have studied Buddhism, ate with a monk and meditated in a Buddhist temple. I have practiced Wiccan ritals, Norse mythology and Christianity.  I have read the bible and prayed to the saints and Jesus Christ. I have read the Quaran and gotten on my knees alongside my Islamic friends. Through constant prayer, fasting and ritual magic work, I have realized this; there is a god consciousness, but that is for us to decide throughout personal autonomy, not for any other human person to tell us with we believe. I fully believe in the shamanic energy work and light healers however I am against capitalism and greed and any harmful doctrine that pushes oppression. ​In my own journey I have found the homeless and the poor to be the most blessed and the mentally ill to have constant and direct connection with the god of their understanding.

HOT FOR BOOKS:

Alongside my career and my love for activism, I am obsessed with art. I find "I weep for art and art weeps for me." I am an avid collector of art and knowledge, especially philosophy. With that said, I was finally given the gift of ADHD meds in adulthood and thus alongside my spiritual journey I found the gift and love for knowledge outside of strictly academia.  I love to craft books, visit book boxes and fully submerge myself in reading. My favorite genres are: romance, fantasy, spicy smut, LGBTIQIA and BIPOC authors, cult classics and theology text.
